But you are right, it shows in the performance. Its a shame, because there are a lot of good foot soldiers, the actual funeral staff trying to provide a respectful, compassionate service but hindered and frustrated from doing so by cost saving strategies imposed by management who don't understand the funeral business.
A Funeral stock doesn't deserve a high PE and Yes its been overpriced up to now. It might still be, the market will decide. Punters think its a sure bet because the first rule of the universe is that we're all going to die. But you have to remember the second rule of the universe 'You can only die once' Hardly a growth stock when you think of it that way.
