Its interesting last quarter they announced the site specific interruptions to the market as they occured. This latest qtr - bubkis until last weeks rubbish which has no detail. Reads to me there were some one off costs that they included but to call it higher than expected, when you knew those costs were being incurred, wtf? The feasibility & Mineral resource has now been pushed by a few months, thats no biggy really but when things arent going your way...... New 52 week low today. Way to go Dan who has never bought a share.
@zereal you are likely much better versed in these thing than I, but I'd say the strategy of getting the note out last week was to include all of the current known bad news. It doesnt make strategic sense to release one lot, and then call out another round (of bad news) on the call. Its also not how Dan operates. Last Q he threw the Dragues impairment bad news out there followed by news of the Federation ground breaking, then positive drilling results, then the quarterly. To me (and I may easily be wrong) the bad news is out and now it will all be "look at teh shiny drilling results" and any other good news before Thursdays call. It will be BS around how they will manage ASIC back down and dont expect any more surprises.
GLAH - we need all the help we can get with Dan and Pete at the helm.
