Offloading doesn’t have to mean sell. They could split aces as it were, around the two Cobar mills. They seem to allocate growth capital according to the short term, and thereby hamper longer term optimum: eg exploration spend at peak dialled down when, if great Cobar is the real deal, why would it make sense to dial down exploration relative to dargues/federation.
truth is, it’s very difficult to see through their short term balance sheet coverture against actual longer term substance.
I doubt they are truly positioned to pursue what is optimal because they are always recovering from legacy effects - seems late august will be make or break crossroads.
