Mr market makes no sense. If we just look at PPT’s results announcement…..profits rose +21% and beat analyst’s estimates. Divi up +18% on LY and in total now the divi yield is 7.7% on the closing price ($2.09 / $24.45)….and that too fully franked! PPT is buying PDL for a song…..it will pay the debt it is taking to fund the cash component in 3 years and will extract c$50m of annual synergies post the acquisition…. This is a buy buy buy to me
