Ah guys so many really need to do their homework on fundamentals. Also been some very nice arbitrage opportunities between PDL and PPT.for those monitoring both and have a grasp of both companies long term fundamentals.
Buying PPT into the dividend will prove to be a value trap at least for the short term. Alternatively foregoing the dividend, selling down on PPT and buying PDL has given a degree of insurance.
