Agree with your proposition at large but not the supporting reasons in general. The local banking sector is a dinosaur, and indeed 1970's 's, a lot of talk about innovation and digital working, announcements galore but not many meaningful advancements. Compliance is not confined to the banking and finance sectors but they have a difficulty with it, not in their DNA or whole of thinking, or skill set, still obssesed with frontline services reduction and needless to say more executive remuneration.
