The update probably wasn't as bad as it looked on the surface. There is some hope that a potential rise in fees can offset the increase in costs - the comment about strong underlying demand seems to hint at this. Also, NSW and VIC should bounce back and I presume the debt restructure was included in the loss figure. The UK is very small in the overall scheme of things and the Nordic operations are said to be going well. Despite this I sold out this morning. There have just been too many disappointments for me and although there is some hope of improvement, I don't like how heavily indebted the company is.
It should be said, that it is a wonderful industry that provides an essential service, with strong secular tailwinds. I just wish they were not making such a dog's breakfast on their execution strategy.
