    Of course the Mgmt and SH want to see this happen. The problem at the moment is trying to get fUndoing for a project that isn’t profitable at current NdPr prices. HAS is not alone in this respect, just look at the price falls of any RE project - ARU, PEK, LIN etc. while project is uneconomic.

    Even if they secured funding, can they start construction knowing they’ll incur an annual interest cost of +/-$50mpa once the loan is drawn?

    The world needs RE prices 25-30% higher than today if some of these projects are to develop, but the Chinese seem quite happy to keep prices suppressed to support their dreams of EV dominance. The Europeans seem to have only just woken up to the fact their automotive industry is under threat from the Chinese!
