re: rem it tough to not balk when you see those kinda numbers. but light breezes do not make good sailors. I feel we are well positioned because of the tough decisions leadership have taken over the last 12-18 months.
there is a sea of incompetence out there running multi-billion dollar companies. I'll draw your attention to IGO and the complete debarcle surrounding the WSA acquisition and subsequent write down. SBM another example.
in long format, me personally I'm ok paying management a premium for the best in the business who are willing to make the tough calls at the right time because in the end even retail will win IMO. I generally invest in leadership teams over the project - if you can marry up a great team with a great project then it's even better.
