Beach Energy hits 6-mth high on ouput, revenue rebound, Waitsia timings key

"We remain cautiously optimistic that the guidance for Waitsia can be reinstated in its August results for capex and schedule," analysts at Citi wrote in a report.
Reinstating Waitsia is an important catalyst to restore trust in Beach Energy, the analysts said. "We think Waitsia could surprise to the upside."
Beach CEO Morné Engelbrecht said the project is "progressing."
Engelbrecht acknowledged challenges regarding working with Clough but said the financial issues between the parties have been resolved.
