These unfounded swings are because you are not trading against other humans who think like you - you are trading against the algo's and bots who play a different game. Taken that the company is solid, my strategy it to trade the swings and avoid being shaken out ( of long term holds). There's a mozza to be made in trading these almost predictable swings - it's a rare opportunity. IMO.
