Despite the fertility rate trend falling significantly since the 70s, there have never been more births p.a. (300k). Unless your crystal ball is telling you that the the fertility rate will trend much lower than 1.7/ 1.8 in the future, this is a complete non-issue. Even then we'll probably open the gates a bit wider for new Australians to come and start new families.
