Wishful thinking on your part. Federal and the mainland Govts have no regard for these matters and are quietly cheering on the demise of AGL in its present form, and for similar energy suppliers. Just look at Victoria (Labor) and now NSW (likely Labor after March 2023) for how they have acted in terms of energy security and energy poverty.
