I'm not at all surprised at these results. Good old AGL board. I'm also not surprised for the apologists looking to blame MCB and the new board members who have been here for a total of 5 minutes! Let's not focus on the old ways that more than chopped the share price in half due to mismanagement, huh? Did no one else see this coming when we were dropping generators without working capital to support and ridiculous lead times to have them back up and running? Nah.. it's all MCB and renewables fault. Only this mob could lose money with gas, coal, and power prices near record highs. This should be the ultimate wakeup call for those of us that are scared of new tech.. this is the way of old tech. Straight down the drain. I can't predict what the new board mix would be capable of, but I'm pretty confident that we'll be far better off with them than the old mob that left us this mess. On to the future and a bigger, better AGL.
