I'm a big fan of primary industry stocks. I was a holder of Tassal for a couple of years until the Cooke takeover. Everyone on the TGR Hot Copper page was annoyed at the takeover being approved.
As the article states, CSS is the pick of the bunch when it comes to Australian aquaculture stocks. Nothing comes remotely close to (pre-takeover) Tassal for size or profitability though. Not even Huon; which was also taken over.
If not for having too many small cap, non dividend paying stocks and contrarian turn-around plays in my portfolio, now I'd possibly take a small stake in CSS. I like what they're doing.
