Not sure why the price is being hammered given what I thought...

Not sure why the price is being hammered given what I thought appeared to be a good result showing good improvement in key metrics over last year so I looked at last years presentation and I need some help in understanding what has happened.

I have taken the key highlights from this years presentation:

and noticed some discrepancy in the FY22 numbers which appear to have been re-stated? A companion of the key data with the FY22 figures stated in last years presentation yields the following comparison:



Now the comparison with last year still look Ok but clearly not as good. The main worry that I have is the apparent decline in EPS where they show an increase. Clearly this is due to the QTM acquisition and the resultant increase in shares held. But what that indicates to me is that the QTM acquisition is not pulling its weight in additional earning compared with the increase in the share base.

I must confess that I have not delved into the detail of the annual reports and appendices and I suspect that the figures have been restated due to the QTM acquisition. However, it does take some of the gloss off the result for me.

Any assistance in understanding the discrepancies would be appreciated.

There may be games going on but remember the African proverb "when elephants fight, it's the grass that gets trampled". At the moment, I am certainly feeling like the grass!
