At this price buyers are effectively getting quantum healthcare for free!
I spoke to investor relations re: the newspaper article on centuria capital not funding a fitout of the mt Waverley facility. Had the fit out been funded by centuria then the rent would have gone up to compensate for the incentive, so it would have equated to a loan. This is normal for REITs - my wife works for one.
so to wipe out 20% of market cap over this would seem an over reaction. The cost of the fit out was always going to be paid with either interest on funding or from increased rent (operating costs) so the net result is neutral.
At this price buyers are effectively getting quantum healthcare...
