The pro’s for buying PAC is that globally Equity Managers have been seeking to buy investment shops like PAC to diversify their FUM base and stabilise with long term FUM contracts.
It seems like Paul has provided an individual update to the journalist, so there are some positive notes on the likelihood of a transaction - question is how much and who wants it most.
