The theft/shrinkage thing was most interesting to me.
Locally, I have seen 'organized customers' with full trolleys just walk on out without a care. There are no security gates in self checkout.
Don't pay? Security cannot touch .. if queried or challenged get threatened with violence.
No idea how they are going to stop this type of behaviour but it's sure going to increase unless they find a reasonable solution?
