Lol what a dumb analogy. Discounted does not mean low quality. The discount comes from their business model - proximity to the warehouse, minial staff - everyone in the shop works (ie no supervisors standing around doing nothing), small range. Not servicing Tasmania and NT saves them money too. Coles /Woolies/IGA cant compete on efficiency.
Anyway, we could argue for ages Im sure but this will be my last post. Back to Coles , the last 2 financial years have been pretty lame (flat), same as Bunnings. Wesfarmers might have to get off their donkey and start having a good look soon as to why their businesses arent performing. Another fat lazy insttution resting too much on their laurels.
