I see where you are going with this, and have great sympathy with many Iranian assylum seekers who I got to know after they were put into Community Detention near where I live. (Given enough to rent a house, medicare and education access). I helped several to cope with the transition, but saw first hand how various NGO's feed off them.
10y later many of them have moved into self-employment, but always inclined to support ALP governments that got them here.
I think it cannot be too comfortable, but shipping them to Rwanda is not possible for UK givernment, politically, even if they wanted to.
They are not going to send Ukranian refugees to Ukraine which is inevitably going to be divided between slightly enlarged Poland and a Russian aligmed state bordering the Black Sea.
So I am comfortable this is least bad option., and pl;eased to help, as a supporter of CTD.
I cannot fathom the adverse SP movement, opposite of what I expected so far.
