Hopefully the report is a box ticking exercise for a government agency.
From afar the breakdown in the relationship with Arafura and the Aussie banks has stalled this project. Hopefully we see some meaningful progression leading up to June 2024 but that seems unlikely with the macros.
A silver lining is Labor seem to be leaking Rare Earth stories to journalists I.e., The Age. They are angling for heavy Government investment in projects that do more than just mine and export. Magnets fits the criteria, whether Arafura plays a part is anyone’s guess.
