The problem here is which idiots do you believe.
The reason they sold utilities like the SEC and Telstra etc is because the idiots of the time were mismanaging the place and needed cash. Now the idiots are still mismanaging the place they want to score political points to stay in power and rekindle the glory days of ownership right up untill the point the idiots realise that they are still mismanging the place and will try and flog it off to fix their budgets once more. And so it goes on.
