Dgl's are not the kind of bulk chemicals that get shipped over water, is what I understand. Think they basically formulate, mix, pack and distribute based on customer specifications rather than the energy intensive bulk commodity chemical manufacturing he is talking about. That is what I have gathered but dyor. With AdBlue for example, they don't manufacture urea (bulk chemical energy intensive). They source it and then mix to make AdBlue.
