Good points mate.

WA gas is mostly used for industry and mining. SE Australian gas is more for domestic use- hence seasonal.

Note also that Otway is wet gas- so as gas production decreased so did gas liquids, condensate and LPG- so that really hurt- gas liquids is where the profits are.

Pity, the thesis was that BPT had well located assets to take advantage as Bass Strait JV production goes into decline- and it is declining.

I shall have another look at BPT- consider the price- and think about getting back in or not. This stock had been good for me earlier. Management cannot create oil and gas they can only look for it- and ditto they cannot create winter and spring frost etc.
