What the hell went wrong at Waitsia?
BPT has experience in operating and building several other gas plants. Waitsia seems to be a standard gas plant, no unusual add-ons.
You would think it would be a cookie-cutter exercise - cut-'n-paste standard designs - select contractors with gas plant experience - easy peasy low risky.
But no way - instead some ghastly aussie design and construction blow out. What is wrong with these people, can't they learn from their own experience??? Why do they have to keep reinventing the wheel and doing it badly to boot?
