People like to boil a company down to 1 or 2 metrics. In this case ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and NRR (Net Revenue Retention). Not because the acronym makes them sound smart, maybe a little bit that, but because it's a lazy and quick way to look at a company.
It has its merits. We all know a person is likely to succeed on 1 or 2 metrics - IQ and Gender. If you are Male with high IQ you are more like to succeed but that doesn't mean you will.
If things were that simple we should all be successful in trading/investing... But it's not.
