To warrant a high multiple in the tech sector. You have to have 2 things, 1 high growth, 2 pricing power.
for shares like Xero, REA, Pro medicus, wise tech, they can raise prices and the churn rate remain low, this shows they have important pricing power.
from listening to the CEO, I came away thinking MP1 might not have pricing power and they are going to chase growth.
MP1 currently do not have either growth or pricing power, they are going to try to chase growth and might not get pricing power back. The market is therefor settling at a new equilibrium. They need to show they can get growth back. Getting pricing power back might never be possible.
