Ultimately it is about whether any company can generate sales and profits. Conflicts do not guarantee sales.
I am really in two minds about HCL. It seemed to be heading in the right direction with sales and management that seemed reasonable, so I bought in at 36c, then got wiped out two weeks later when it ran into it's inventory problems and was quite rightly smashed when suddenly HCL's future looked far less certain.
Once it bobbled along the bottom for a while I guessed that it was probably over-sold and doubled down and then sold out at 26c and finished up making a reasonable profit, but can't help but feel I dodged a bullet. The stock has a pretty low market cap but it just doesn't look all that stable, so I am left in two minds with this one. In the end, with the market so high, I pulled the plug, but it seems to be worth watching.
