Be interested to see what the market thinks of this. Short term I don't think it's that great, especially the dividend. Li is off the boil right now and there's a lot of "will be better in the future" with iron ore, gas, etc. Plus huge amounts of debt lying around. I guess the divvy was dropped so they can pay off some debt?A low payout ratio for high ROIC also makes sense. Plus, the market has pushed MIN down a bit recently so perhaps this is all priced in.
I see MIN like a rubber band. It's under a lot of tension and when it's let go, we will fly. Until then, let's see what Mr Market thinks.
