If you take away inflation then real sales growth is slightly negative.
This result confirms for me that young people, who are Accent customers are really struggling with cost of living and the madness in the residential rental market where rents have become astronomical, taking an ever growing slice of disposable income. Eventually the consumer cracks.
The next 6 months will be interesting to see how AX1 handles this affordability issue.
