    "they NEED to RATIONALISE their brands -thrifty link and true value hardware definitely not worth keeping both , and even HOME Hardware in its death throes or should be - they can then put more effort into their top brands"

    Today: I also said similar about some of their grocery brands which I believe is also very relevant.- some of those brands may have some localised customer loyalty, yes, but is that loyalty enough to stop those customers shopping online elewhere, or Costco, Aldi etc? - i think not!

    The brand becomes too expensive to maintain for a regional market, especially in the face of that other competition
