However you are otherwise correct: the three branches of the Wilson family have not sold a single share since they gained control in 1969.
No doubt as @madamswer remarked, the earnings multiple is extremely high and not justified on traditional metrics but we pay a premium for quality management. That said, not so long ago the REH SP fell several dollars for a while before recovering, so the SP is not fixed in stone.
