Just seems like a lot of time/effort and capital all tied up to produce some very modest net profits considering the amount of capital lied up in this enterprise and all the daily risks and necessary regulatory burden, depleting their orebodies in a profitless excercise, also known as treading water, improving metal prices just seem to be absorbed by new capital costs and operating cost increases (materials, equipment, wages and staff costs etc).
