I wouldn't be too hung up on the 1-2 year time frame DB mentioned for capital initiatives.
I think this was just a possible timeframe put to him by the analyst, and he said it wouldn't be longer than that. But to me it sounded like a max timeframe - things could happen alot sooner if M&A opportunities arise and now that the Synlait situation is almost resolved.
If you think back to MVM, from the initial announcement, through due diligence and to the completion of the sale was almost a year.
So I wouldn't be surprised if there was some clarity sooner.
I wouldn't be too hung up on the 1-2 year time frame DB...
