    Honestly I'm not sure how useful it would be to use it as a dressing. I would think it's expensive and if a wound is not suitable for BTM to be used as intended for integration it's likely infected and needs frequent inspection, debridement and cleaning. Other cheaper dressings work pretty well in this scenario. I'm thinking perhaps this is how the chronic wound trial went wrong (and why they wanted to rewrite the protocol to make sure it didn't happen) but maybe they're thinking, well if surgeons want to use it this way, perhaps we should let them?

    Which reminds me how on earth has the chronic wounds trial progressed this far. The trial got "paused" and then AFAIK abandoned and now enrolment is almost complete. Is this a new trial? What's going on?
