They just have to price their product noticeably lower than Nearmap so anyone who needs contemporary aerial data will choose MetroMap to save money. Nearmap's Australian operating margin is competitor inducingly massive. Many govt departments and larger corporates addicted to aerial and not really needing massive historical archive will be tempted to go MetroMap. Nearmap will only drop its prices so far as it still would have plenty of 'sticky' customers.
