Inventory impairment could be for a number of different reasons, interesting that you immediately jumped to mouldy product despite not having anything to back that statement up. The one thing that sets this company apart from the majority of others is how responsive and open the MD (Nan) is. If you are truly interested in knowing the reason you can email her directly or post a question on the ECS investor hub, although since you don't hold the stock you might not be able to use investor hub.
Inventory impairment is well within tolerances and towards the lower end when compared to companies at a similar stage of growth.
