Given much of the news about MYR's profit dip had been known for weeks, 'Mr Market's' negative reaction that's sent the SP down 8.57 per cent or A$0.075 to A$0.80 is harsh.
We see this pattern with many companies: the market is quick to significantly punish, but then often within a couple of days reassesses, and then the SP lifts a little, though not back to the level it was prior to the announcement.
