I think the Otway Gas plant price might be a bit lower than that but happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.
The 16th April 2021 announcement said:
"The partial award reflects this intent and is approximately consistent with the midpoint of the 2020 southern states’ wholesale gas prices of $7.86 - $10.82 as reported by the ACCC1, for gas supply agreements executed from January 2018 to February 2020".
So that suggests average price of around $9.34 per GJ which is consistent with the quarter reports last couple of stated gas prices achieved of $8.90 per GJ.
So a modest increase to me suggests maybe 5 to 10% which would mean the renegotiated price is around $10 per GJ unless there was another price increase since 2021 that I have missed and that will continue until July 2026.

The increase in daily production on Otway was good to see and was consistent with that daily supply chart I posted a few days ago.

What was not so good was the impairment charge of $721M which surely should have been written off last financial year and hence that may have reduced the directors bonuses which I personally think would have been a good thing.
At least its non cash and will reduce this years tax.

I still don't fully understand the mechanics of Waitsia regarding overlifting and costs relating to this so need to do more research.

Western flank production dropped again by 12% and I see this trend continuing due to natural decline.

The good thing is new revenue streams are finally coming online so hopefully we will now start seeing production increases rather than decreases every quarter for the next couple of years.
