Further to the point re number of sales staff needed down the line….
Sales staff have been spending a considerable amount of time in the operating theatres in the past - and probably still.
Surgeons new to any new product like to have a rep present to answer questions. I see that all the time - particularly with new orthopaedic devices.
It’s then a case of see 1, do 1, teach 1.
