"As exciting as the Polynovo story is, we have a new product pipeline including hernia and breast products."
5 years ago they were 'working on' the same products. Even once they get products in these areas, it will take a few years to get sales to be a meaningful percentage of overall sales.
Today the company is trading at 16 times sales, after 6 stellar years of sales growth, and the pattern has been down in the July to September time period until sales growth rate picks up again.
Why would anyone expect this year to be different?? The pattern might have a lot to do with when the big hospitals do their major restocking for the year ahead, but it's an established pattern, so why expect SP to go up much from here in the next few months and not follow the normal pattern??
