I bought this for a $1 from IPO and sold out 2 years ago for $3.35.
It's a great company with excellent customer service. However, ABB have lost their competitive advantage which was charging a higher price for better speeds and service; Their competitors such as Superloop/Exetel and a few smaller ISP's are significantly cheaper than ABB yet offer similar speeds and customer service now. Hence, a lot of their customer base have churned to cheaper providers. I, for one, used to be with ABB 3 years ago but find it hard to justify paying $20 p/m more when I can go with Superloop, Tangerine or Exetel and pay less.
I also have a feeling this Buddy product may cannibalise sales of their premium ABB offering which may explain some of the negative SP reaction today.
