Great to see reasonable to good rains (Moree for instance: 21.6mmn and one measured location in Gunnedah had more than 31mm) in 23 or so hours to 0810 this morning in northwestern NSW, normally a major granary that sadly wasn't for the FY 23 winter crop.
I've posted details on the GNC thread about the 2024 winter crop.
This will drive optimism among some graingrowers if fortunate to receive such rains, and inevitably see extra spending at Elders branches such as at Gunnedah. (There are Elders Insurance branches in Narrabri and Moree but not from what I can see Elders farm supplies outlets).
