I had a quick look at a small number of BOM rainfall statistics for the WA central wheatbelt.
Locations such as Northam have had no rain thus far in April, and some areas also lacked any in March 2024.
Although like many I've been from the disliked 'eastern states' to WA a few times, my knowledge of the wheatbelt is poor, but it's not receiving the rain that the eastern states' wheatbelt mostly is.
