@lloydray I had a 'quick' look re your 'quick question', but it raises far more questions than I can readily answer and I cannot give advice. It's not what I'd usually touch and I would not buy something I don't understand, and I'm not trader I'm contrarian and conviction investor. All I can do is ask what I think are relevant questions, noting that there are others who have crunched the numbers on this report and done comparisons.

A lot depends on BSA's technology and that also depends on whether they are filling a necessary gap or what competitors are doing. Not sure how long their current contracts are for. AFAIK Foxtel is in decline so you will need something else to replace that in the longer term. Services sectors involving discretionary spending are feeling the squeeze (eg transport and deliveries are hurting) but that's also AFAIK, it's not an area I'd usually look into. They seem to want to go into the EV sector but I am not sure how that works we aren't manufacturing cars here, but it's a component/ add-on? It's a really good one? IDK. That goes back to the technology and how robust, efficient and innovative.

They have an $11 million bank loan with the CBA which they drew on massively in the quarter of $4mil ... for one off expenses? Not clear why they have incurred the losses on legal case.. or when this loan was raised it seems to be to carry them over this difficult period.

So is the legal settlement finalised and it's is now all over for the balance sheet? Management looks a bit of a shambles. Joint CEOs? I would want that sorted out. They have divested part of their business. To repay the loan? A lot depends on management quality LT and the market share, but traders would like this they are in and out rapidly.

Other than these briefest of impressions, I would listen to what BSA have to say in their preso on 23 Feb and take it from there. I can't give any advice but I'd definitely take on board what others are saying in here, try to understand their perspectives you have a SP lift recently they are explaining their analysis. Volatility is something traders get excited about but I'm not interested in the short term. I'd be wary of what traders say because nobody is your friend and a sudden rise can become a spike. You have to do the numbers, compare with others, do your own research and make up your own mind.
At least you can see how tagging works, I just tagged you at the start. It avoids clogging other threads with topics that aren't relevant. Good luck with it all.
