Trav from Money of mine started bad mouthing Minres the moment half yearly came out. The two kids even dedicated the whole episode to this while there were plenty of news worthy released that day.
Money of mine model is based on picking up whats hot in the news and running with it to maximise the views so they can then advertise their partner companies.
When your "average joe" like money of mine starts to talk about a trend/trade that is usually the bottom/top of that trade. MinRes bottom near 23.5 when Trav was busy tweeting on X about how shit MINRES's half yearly was.
As to the above video - There are numerous things on it that I dont agree with. They are not presenting a balanced view, merely expressing their negative view that is purely grounded on their assumption that the haul road will not be fixed and their very basic BOM rain tracker analysis.
Here is my advice to Money of Mine - if you are that well connected in industry - go and inspect the road with your eyes and talk to an independent civil engineer as to what it will cost to fix that road and what sort of timeline is involved. Compare their feedback to what Chris is saying and then come and bad mouth the company in public space. Also contact the Weather experts (there are plenty) and understand from them if Min's claim was accurate and what is a more balanced assumption.
anyhow - a good recovery in share price from 23.5 to 27.1 giving a nice return to those who dared to buy on Wednesday. I did and I am glad I did.
