    If nhc buyback 5%, then your ownership in the company increases by a little more than 5%

    All the metrics also increase...eg: ROC & EPS /FCF in future years.

    After all, the value of your shares are the value of the companys future discounted FCF x your % ownership in the company.

    Im a small SH but im all for a mix of divvies and share buybacks (at the right price).
