I don’t have the skill to make a living from investing in the sharemarket or was it ever my intentions. its more of hobby which supplements or contributes a small portion to my income.
Generally the comments u made about penny dreadful stocks is true. There aim is to increase the share prices by an indirect manner. Ironically that is a similar approach being committed by the NHC board!
I can now understand why the on-market buybacks were original banned and if the trend continues to cater for the big end of town it should reintroduced.
I sure there would other companies like Suncorp who aren’t penny dreadful stocks that reward their shareholders through consolidation.
Since I’ve retired I seen the changes in the corporation act that basically disadvantages the indifferent shareholders.
Including the change in attitude of some of Directors towards rewarding the mum and dad investors.
