HZN is a great example of a free cash flow generating company that could be purchased for cents in the dollar. Too small for any institutional $$$, heavily indebted to get into production (in early 2020s), thereafter FCF generating, in a sector (oil) that if you believed the TV screen should have hit peak oil and not existed right now, right.
Back in 2021-2022 there was far more active contribution on the forum, because this was a time that the company transitioned from heavily in debt to net cash position and proceeded to buyback shares, complete a capital return, then actively pay a half yearly dividend. At that time post covid, you could have purchased HZN for around 5-6c per share. For anyone who did purchase at these lows (I did), now yes can sit back and not really care about any daily or weekly fluctuations in the share price because those that purchased that low are getting 50% return per annum on original investment.
The real question is, who is the next HZN which we can all purchase for cents in the dollar?
